Everyone's favorite online Megastore, Amazon, really does have you covered from A - Z, even in death! That's right folks, you can even buy a burial casket from Seattle's very own Amazon.com. They have many different options for you to choose from in regards to burials on the cheap - different sizes (in case you need one for your pet), shapes, and even a DIY option - for the undertaker / craftsman in us all!
The only thing we need to decide now is where to store the death boxes while we still walk the Earth. I don't know about you but I think just having it hang out in the garage for a few years might result in a lot of questions from your neighbors. Another thing to ponder (among many): "one size fits all" - in case someone takes the leap before the expected owner, after all, you can always buy another one!
The reasons of having your casket available before death are endless - you can fulfill your dreams of sleeping like a "vampire", have a multipurpose place for the kids to play, have a realistic looking coffin for your Halloween party, create a new space to "get away from it all", and of course terrify your significant other. The list is really pretty endless and you can let your imagination run wild! Likely, the most important reason to buy now, is that you can save youself some serious cash in the long run (the really long run).
The prices for these caskets take all the mourning out of funeral costs - even the "deluxe" versions I found are significantly less than what you would be charged at your local undertaker. You can save yourself (or family) thousands of dollars and hours of stress by purchasing your casket sooner rather than later while at the same time preparing everyone you know for the inevitable. You can also be the envy of everyone in your neighborhood by purchasing a really expensive looking one and rubbing it in their faces - inflate the price and then the Joneses will want to keep up with you - even when your dead!
So, if you get a chance, take a look at some of the offerings that are available and definitely check out the reviews - they can be quite informative and some of them are really humorous. What do you have to lose - except, your time kicking and screaming here on Earth?
