So it's that time of the year again... you hate life, summer is almost over, and you feel as though you will never get even a short break from the day to day. Well, maybe its time for a little Staycation - and the best place to spend this time can be found at Snoqualmie Casino. You do not need a lot of time or to spend a lot of money to have a nearby staycation with a lot of fun for you and your chosen company. In fact, all you need is a few hours to let the Casino melt your bad feelings, and stressful work life, away (at least for a short while).
I am a big fan of gambling - which is strange considering I am all about saving money - but I like the lights, sounds, and thrill of winning. This casino is the nicest in the Seattle area (from my own perspective) and has everything you could want from a "Vegas-Style" casino - including multiple "finer" dining options (Terra Vista, Café Drip, Falls Buffet, Box Car New York Style Deli, Kindai Sushi and Noodle Bar), a great atmosphere, and card games.
If you go make sure to sign up for the Players Club - where you can earn points on all the money you use to gamble. They always have some great promotions you can get in on if you use your card - and its free to join. Occasionally, I think depending on how much you play, they also send out little vouchers in the mail that you can use. These are generally $5, $10, or $20 "coupons" you can take to the players club and they give you CASH - that's right folks - not credit on the card - cash.If your in need of a vacation SOON - and want some extra points - this Sunday, August 29, 2010 they have an event where you can get 10X the points (during certain hours). These points can ussually make up for whatever you lost - and when they multiply them like this it's like getting free money. YOu can use your points at any restaurant, shop, or bar in the place like cash - and it's fun to feel the "something for nothing feeling" (even if you had to spend money to get the points).
The casino is roughly one half hour away from the Seattle proper - and it really is an entirely different environment than what you you might be used to. So get up off your feet, get your lucky charms ready, and head over to Snoqualmie Casino for a mini staycation you will (for better or worse) likely never forget.
